Fun Stuff

Just got back from hanging out with Naim, we had some good times; tasty chicken gyros at the local Coney Island, then I got to see Spore in action (pretty neat), we played some Carcassonne and finally ended up trying out a cool co-op XBLA game called Castle Crashers (lots of beat-em-up fantasy action with a unique style and sense of humor). Fun stuff. :)

Tim and I were talking a little about Wrath today and he asked how quickly I might be able to get to 70, which got me thinking. I'm just about at 50 now, with 55 being my immediate goal. I should be able to hit that in another week or two, at which point 70 is only 15 levels away. The trouble is, Blizzard designed the content that goes from 60 to 70 to take a long time to complete. But, when Wrath is released, the buzz is that that content will be made much easier in favor of the new stuff. So really if I'm going to try to get to 70 (from 60 or so) I should wait for Wrath to be released to do it. I can try to get as far into the 60s as possible, but I don't want to be spending more time on it than necessary if it will just become easier anyway. Then the only other question if that of realm. Should I move Alambil to a PvE realm and make life easier on myself, or keep her on the current realm with a decent guild of people I know? Tough choice; I'll probably keep her there unless something changes drastically.

So, at 55 I'll be Death Knight ready, at 60 I'll get a new mount, then past 60 I'll be setting myself up to get ready for the push to 70 once Wrath is released, the 60-70 content made easier and, as Tim brought up, there will likely be a glut of players in the new areas right away anyway.
